The air flow wheel is a type of rotary heat exchanger that consists of a series of flat or curved plates arranged in a wheel or rotor. The wheel rotates between two separate air streams, allowing heat or moisture to be transferred between them. As the air flow wheel rotates, the plates alternately pass through the warm and cool air streams, transferring heat or moisture from one stream to the other.
